San Diego Goodness...

And THIS is why I'm one of the luckiest people around, even if I DO have bad hair in the photos:

Here I am outside Ballroom 20, where the Eisner Awards are held. I'm so lucky, that's Jane Wiedlin! She was in the Go-Go's AND my favorite movie, Clue. Oh, to be the CP!

Also joining us outside was presenter and past Eisner Award winner, Neil Gaiman. My friend Portlyn and I had to ask him to re-take this photo, the first was the worst photo ever of any of the 3 of us, Neil agreed.

More later, including my dinner with "Fables" creators Bill Willingham and Mark Buckingham and an invitation to an AWESOME party!

On Friday, Lori went to pick up Mungo and my unnamed puppy. We had a noisy first night, she's not used to sleeping by herself or in a crate yet. She'll be OK, though. Today, she was sitting in my lap while I worked on the computer. I had an Old 97's album on, and she looked up when "Doreen" came on. So she's no longer unnamed!
