Yay, yardwork!
I've been wanting something different done to the flowerbed in my front yard, something that didn't require weeding or a green thumb if possible.
I knew that I wouldn't get it done if I put it off to the summer, because it'd be WAY too hot to do anything. I still wanted to get it done, though. That takes us to Saturday at lunch when I said "Screw it, I'm going to buy the stuff right now!" and bought a pallet of rock. A pallet's about 4000 pounds (2 tons), that I then had to unload and place by hand. That SUCKED. Know what sucked more? Realizing it's not enough! So I went and bought another 1000 pounds yesterday. While I was at it on Saturday, I'd bought some evergreens to plant next to the stinky Bradford Pear tree. I finished with all my purchased items yesterday, and only have a few more bags of rock to go buy. It'll have to wait, though, as I'm REALLY sore.
For Cheryl, some pics:

Well done - a step way above anything in our yard.
